Max's Story

🐾 Meet Max, this beautiful 2-year-old torby girl — a quiet, observant soul with a gentle spirit and a story of resilience. Her clipped ear is her badge of honor, a sign of the tough life she’s overcome, and today she’s learning what it means to feel safe and loved.
She’s calm and reserved, the kind of companion who will gracefully share your couch while keeping a comfortable distance. Though she may be shy, she still has a playful kitten side and happily entertains herself with toys like her ball tower.
Trust doesn’t come quickly for her, but she is making steady, meaningful progress. She has recently started taking Churu treats from hands she now recognizes as safe — a big milestone in her journey. While she’s not ready for petting just yet, she’s quietly learning, one step at a time.
She enjoys the companionship of other friendly cats and has been doing well with slow introductions to dogs in her foster home.
Because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in a calm, patient home without young children. She needs an experienced adopter who understands feline body language and is willing to give her the time and space she needs to fully blossom.
She is:
* Spayed
* Microchipped
* Vaccinated
* Dewormed
* Treated for fleas, ticks, and ear mites
Adoption fee: $70
