Matty

Matty has come a very long way from where we found him. He was one of eight cats whose owner and caretaker had to leave the home due to medical issues. She was not returning. So Matty was found with severe matts that were pulling his skin apart. All of the cats had severe earmites, and Matty's ears were in the worst shape. The back of his ears are still hairless, and it may never grow back. But he's adorable anyway!<br/><br/>He was super scared, and hid for weeks. We have worked with him for several months now. He has completely come out of shell. He loves other cats, as you might guess, and he loves his foster's dog also. He comes out for pets and loving, and has a big purr he loves to share. He's playful and happy and so very sweet. He'd fit in well in a home that has welcoming cats and a cat-friendly dog. He will need a home that will be patient with him, as he's only known a couple of humans in his lifetime, and needs to learn to trust.
