Matty's Story

Matty, a.k.a. The Baby, was found alone on a cold October day with his eyes still closed and no mother in sight. He was bottle-fed every 3 hours for weeks and quickly became one of the most special cats at the sanctuary. <br/>Now 6 months old, Matty is fully vaccinated, neutered, playful, curious, and full of energy. He loves running around the house and gets along wonderfully with other cats, especially the seniors, and friendly dogs too.<br/>While hes not a fan of being carried, hes interactive, affectionate in his own way, and would thrive in a home with animal companions and lots of love.

We take our adoption process seriously. Each potential adopter is required to go through the following steps. 1. Adoption Application (see attachment) 2. Interview 3. References (at least two) 4. Rescue contacts references 5. Home visit 6. Once approved, the adoption contract is finalized with the adopter and rescue.
