Matilda's Story

Introducing Matilda....call her Matilda, Matty, Tilley or give her a new name that you think suits her personality! Her name was chosen by her foster mom and as you may know FFN only takes in homeless strays (unless originally adopted from us) so we don't actually know if this gal had another name! We don't know her exact age but believe she between 5 and 9 yrs. She can occasionally show a bit of "attitude" and for that reason we don't feel she would be a good fit in a home with children. Matilda is looking for a comfy indoor home with someone who will dote on her. SHE WILL WALK RIGHT IN AND MAKE HERSELF AT HOME! We believe she's had a tough go for the first part of her life so understand where she might now have something to say about that! Don't let a little attitude stop you. She LOVES affection and will greet you at the door when you get home from work. She'll happily hop up onto your lap to watch a good movie (making biscuits to show how much she is enjoying your company)! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and received parasite prevention. We don't know how Matilda feels about other cats nor dogs.
If you feel you have a good understanding of cats and are looking for a wing lady who will show you her appreciation for being her companion, please fill out the short online adoption inquiry form - link attached for your convenience. She is in a a Stratford ON foster home.
https://www.felinefriends.ca/adoption-inquiry

Feline Friends Network's Adoption Policy
Cats/Kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated including rabies and have received a treatment of revolution (flea combination wormer) Adoption fee is $200 per cat/kitten We do a 1 week and 3 week follow up call to make sure the cat is fitting into your home and if not will place the cat back into our foster care program. We do ask you give a 2 week trial period for the cat to adjust to its new surroundings. If the cat is not adjusting we will take it back into our care. We rely on foster homes so a foster would have to be secured first. http://www.felinefriends.ca
