Meet Matilda
Matilda is a beautiful, petite, brown and white tabby and her estimated date of birth is August 2020. She was first spotted hanging around a cottage area in Plantagenet, ON. After she arrived in foster care in September 2021 with her 3 kittens, her foster mom discovered that she was hiding a second pregnancy! Matilda's second litter was born on October 26, 2021. She was a very attentive mother and had all the patience in the world for her kittens.
Matilda is an extremely sweet and affectionate cat. She loves head and chin scritches and loves to have one on one time with her foster mom especially after work and in the evening, during the day she prefers to be perched in a window watching the birds and squirrels. Matilda tolerates being picked up but prefers to keep her paws on the ground (or sofa). She is very food and treat oriented but very polite and shares easily. She is a fairly vocal cat and will often call out when she's lonely , or when she finds a particularly good toy. Matilda is very accepting of other cats and dogs but can be bossy with other pets. Matilda has a chicken allergy and needs to be on a chicken free diet.
NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.
NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.
NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
