He has a bright, affectionate personality and quickly becomes a constant companion to his people.<br/><br/>He is a true best-friend type of cat—just looking at him gets the purrs going. Mateo always wants to be by your side, happily following along and “helping” with whatever you’re doing.<br/><br/>Mateo has lots of energy and loves to stay active. He especially loves wand toys and would thrive with a playful feline companion to help burn off that energy and keep him engaged.<br/><br/>He has done well living alongside another cat, even one who wasn’t very welcoming, and handled it with ease. Mateo is gentle with people and does a great job keeping his claws to himself, making him a potential fit for homes with respectful kids.<br/><br/>Mateo also enjoys safe, supervised outdoor time with his people and would love a home where he can continue to explore, play, and be someone’s loyal sidekick.<br/><br/>Available Now <br/>$200 adoption fee<br/><br/>Medical services already completed include;<br/>*vet exam<br/>*spay/neuter<br/>*microchip<br/>*current FVRCP vaccine (and booster if applicable timeframe)<br/>*Rabies vaccine (if old enough).<br/>*FIV/FeLV (if a litter, one cat per litter will be tested)<br/><br/>Cat's Meow Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, foster-home based rescue.
