Mary Kate's Story
Meet Mary Kate! She came to us with her sister Ashley when they were just two weeks old! Mary Kate is such a sweetie pie! She loves cuddling with her sister and foster parents. She is super playful and outgoing!

Mary Kate and her sister Ashley both came to us with what we suspect are some congenital abnormalities. In Mary Kate’s case, she appears to have been born with a slightly deformed paw and leg. This deformity does not currently cause her any pain, though she does have a mild limp that has gotten progressively better as she has grown. Our trusted vet has advised us that there’s not a treatment for her deformity other than to monitor her for signs of pain or discomfort. She may be more likely to develop arthritis later in life but we do not believe the condition will impact her overall health throughout the course of her life. We consider her limp to just be a cute quirk but we will be seeking an adopter that is committed to monitoring her condition for the entirety of her life.

Interested in meeting Mary Kate or her sister?
