Marwari's Story

Here's Marwari! This young lady, who is a little over a year old, is a sweetie who likes undivided petting time. She can get jealous if anyone else tries to get in on the action. Though Marwari will hop up into bed all by herself, she doesn’t sleep with her foster mom yet. One of Marwari's foster feline siblings plays fetch, and she’ll try to beat him to the ball and even play by herself now and then. She also enjoys getting groomed, loved, and licks from one of other feline foster sibs. At this point, Marwari seems to prefer women, and is definitely not sure about men. She is frightened by loud noises, and gets iffy about people walking around a lot. In her foster home, upstairs is her safe place. The Feline Connection's Adoption Policy

The Feline Connection champions for cats who need homes and we are committed to finding each cat a safe and healthy permanent home. We work to find the best possible home matches for each of our stray, homelss or friendly colony cats based on their unique needs, and the needs of the adopter. We do not have a shelter location, so all of our animals are fostered with families in Rutland County, Vermont, mostly near Rutland. This gives us a unique capability to observe and interact with each cat in a relaxed home environment. Our conversation based adoption process starts with submitting an application followed by a conversation, vet and landlord check (if needed), and then cats visits and home visits as needed for the perfect match.
