Marvin's Story
Meet Marvin – A Brave Tuxedo with a Big Heart and an Even Bigger Purr!

With his sleek black-and-white tuxedo coat, pale pink nose, and a perfect set of long white whiskers, Marvin is one dashing gentleman! This little guys has had a rough go of it and his tiny tail nub is a badge of resilience and survival. Rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control just in time, Marvin has already overcome so much, and he's ready to start his next chapter: one filled with love, play, and cozy cuddles.

When we first met Marvin, he was horribly uncomfortable and battling infections . We then discovered that the cause of his symptoms was an injury that required his tail to be removed. This injury left Marvin partially incontinent, meaning he'll need a special, caring human who can help keep him clean and healthy. But if you're willing to meet his needs, he'll repay you tenfold in love and devotion.

Marvin's condition is easily managed with diapers and well timed litter box trips. According to his foster mom he "He pees in the litterbox just fine, but occasionally still has poop accidents sometimes. He does well in a diaper."

Marvin is a people-loving, lap-hopping cuddle machine! He is so obsessed with cuddling it's hard to even get a good picture of him. The second you stop petting him he'll be shoving his face into your hands to beg for more! His foster mom even says "I tried to stand up earlier today and he literally jumped in my arms to keep me from leaving. "

This sweet boy has a playful streak too - especially when you bring out a wand toy or a laser pointer. He'll chase, leap, and pounce with the enthusiasm of a kitten. During playtime his excitement sometimes leads to gentle nibbles and a bit of roughhousing, so adults and families with older children who understand kitty play styles would be the best match.

Marvin does wonderfully with other cats and would be thrilled to have a kitty friend in his future forever home. But what Marvin needs most is someone who sees past his special needs and recognizes the joyful, affectionate, full-of-life cat he truly is.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a truly special guy, Marvin is ready to meet you. He's already shown us how strong and loving he can be now he just needs someone to believe in his happily ever after.

WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.
