Marvelous Muffin - Ragdoll from Egypt

Meet Muffin!
Soft blue eyes, a cloud-soft coat, and a personality that gets sweeter by the day, Muffin is a little Ragdoll treasure waiting for someone to discover just how special she is!

Muffin may be a bit reserved when she first meets you, but once she feels safe and knows she can trust you, her sweet personality begins to shine. Give her a little patience, gentle reassurance, and time to settle in, and you’ll see her blossom into an affectionate little companion who loves pets, chin scratches, and being the center of your attention. She is the kind of girl who reminds you that the most rewarding friendships are sometimes the ones that take a little time to grow.

Like many Ragdolls, Muffin is smart, observant, curious, and very tuned in to her people. She would make a wonderful work-from-home companion, a cozy Netflix buddy, and an excellent bird-watching assistant. She enjoys interactive play and is perfectly happy entertaining herself, too—batting toys across the floor and having a grand time with her own little adventures.

Muffin gets along well with other cats and would enjoy having a friendly feline companion, although she can certainly entertain herself if she has plenty of toys and attention. When it's time for relaxing, Muffin loves being close (or on someone), and often snuggles close while on her back putting her feet adorably in the air. She is still learning that hands are for loving, not wrestling! When her playful side takes over, she sometimes wants to turn fingers into toys, but she is learning quickly with gentle redirection and reminders that toys are the appropriate things to pounce, chase, and wrestle.

Muffin recently made the long journey from Cairo, Egypt, where she was rescued as a young kitten and lovingly nursed back to health. She is now thriving in her Northern Virginia foster home and discovering all the wonderful things that come with being a pampered house cat. With continued good nutrition, TLC, and time to mature, we expect her beautiful coat to continue filling out and becoming even more luxurious.

Muffin has been spayed, vaccinated, fully vetted, microchipped, and combo-tested, so she is ready to begin the next and most important chapter of her life—finding her forever family.

Her $350 adoption fee helps cover a portion of her veterinary care, travel expenses, and required certifications, while also helping support the dedicated rescuers in Egypt who continue to save cats in need.

At approximately 15 months old, Muffin is still very much a young cat with plenty of playfulness, personality, and love to give. She is currently being fostered in Burke, Virginia.

If you’re looking for a beautiful, tender-hearted girl who will reward your patience with trust, affection, playful antics, and plenty of purr-worthy companionship, Muffin may be the little treasure you’ve been waiting for.

Please reach out for an adoption application and give this sweet girl the chance to become part of your family!
