Marty

Cats: Well Matched
Dogs: No, thanks
Kids: Older, maybe

Mr. Marty joined our shelter after his owner sadly passed away. Fortunately for this handsome ginger man, there were many people in his corner making sure his needs were met until he made it to us. He recently had a dental to remove 3 broken teeth and is now in first-class, old man shape!

At 16 years old, Marty has perfected his “you will give me attention, human” manners. His purr engine revs on top of his little chirps to let you know it’s Marty time. Do not expect to have much personal space with this striking man in your home.

He has been sharing his quarters with his new senior buddy, Arthur, which he seems to quite enjoy. Marty would likely do well with any gentle, appropriate cat and wouldn’t be opposed to sharing his last years with his new bud.
Marty is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and flea-treated. He has also been SNAP tested, testing negative. He is now ready to leave shelter life behind and find his forever home! Could yours be Marty’s forever home?

For Marty, we are also open to a forever foster arrangement. Because of his age and incoming medical needs as he continues to age, we understand that some families may be hesitant to take on the financial responsibility of caring for a senior gentleman. Through our forever foster program, Marty could enjoy the comfort and love of a home of his own while the shelter covers his approved ongoing medical expenses. It would be the best of both worlds: a loving retirement home for Marty, with the shelter continuing to support his care.

If you're looking for a sweet, social, handsome companion who is ready to start his next chapter, Marty would love to meet you!

Adoption fee: $175 + applicable tax

The next step is to complete an adoption or foster application.
