Our lovely golden girl, Martha Stewart, has been through a great deal. After the loss of her beloved owner, 16 year old Martha Stewart found herself at a shelter that had her scheduled for euthanasia due to her Diabetes. Thankfully, a compassionate volunteer reached out to us to take her in. And we could not be happier to have this sweet, loving girl with us! Martha Stewarts diabetes is very manageable with insulin given twice daily. She is the purrfect patient and takes her medication with ease.<br/><br/>Martha Stewart is proof that senior cats have so much love (and life) to give. Age is just a number, and even with some mild arthritis in her back, this gal does not let anything slow her down! Spry and delightfully nosy, she happily putters around, keeping tabs on everything going on around her. Martha Stewart is affectionate and enjoys spending time with her people, but she is also independent and content to do her own thing. She is easygoing with her shelter pals and would do well in a home with other friendly cats. Her one little quirk (dont we all have one?) is that she needs a very high-sided litter box. Because of her Diabetes, Martha Stewart is eligible for our Permanent Foster Program. We will cover her medical bills for life, provided she is taken to one of our Veterinarians in Maple Ridge.
