Marta’s story began on the streets of Brooklyn, where she was found wandering alone. She was extremely hungry but incredibly sweet, approaching people with trust and gentle affection. After checking for an owner, it became clear that Marta was a community cat who had likely been abandoned and left to struggle on her own.<br/><br/>During a winter snowstorm it became obvious that surviving outside was becoming too difficult for her. Thankfully, she was rescued and placed into a loving foster home where she is now safe, warm, and thriving indoors.<br/><br/>Since her rescue, Marta has been fully vetted, healthy, and full of energy. She has shown herself to be a friendly, affectionate cat who enjoys attention and is grateful for the comfort of a home.
