Marsha's Story

Marsha is a 3.5 month old kitten who is equal parts sweet and adventurous, with a striking torbie pattern. (While she might look like a classic tabby at first glance, Marsha is actually covered with orange patches across her coat and has an adorable half brown/half orange nose.)

Marsha was rescued in early July alongside an extended family of cats who had suddenly appeared on a street of Brooklyn, looking bewildered. While we suspect the cats had recently lost their previous indoor home, Marsha and her siblings were initially quite fearful around people. It's hard to believe that in the first week that we knew her she was as spicy as a kitten can come.

But after just a few weeks in a loving home, Marsha has blossomed into a confident, sweetheart with quite the purr motor. She may still need a little time to warm up to new friends, but she is easily won over with treats. And once Marsha settles in, she will purr the moment you pet her and will crawl into your lap for snuggles.

Her fosters say that Marsha is a true love bug who has brought so much life to their home. While Marsha loves to snuggle and be pet, she is quite the rambunctious kitten. She is curious, playful and always exploring. She loves the other cats in her foster home and can always be found near them, climbing up to the tallest parts of the towers to snuggle in beside them and enticing them to play with her.

Marsha needs to be adopted into a home where she will have a feline companion. If you don't have a cat of your own but are interested in adopting 2, we would be happy to propose a match! (Marsha's sweet and playful sister Storme is also up for adoption!) Marsha would also likely do well with cat-friendly dogs when proper slow introductions are conducted.

Marsha is a 3.5 month old female kitten with a clean bill of health. She is fully up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative and treated for parasites/fleas.

To adopt Marsha, fill out our application at: https://forms.gle/9FjGmWCqWV8ZfVKd8
