Marry is a 2-year-old girl who joined us here at FCAR in mid-May. She has been a bit reserved as she has adapted to her new surroundings, but as she has become more comfortable is really starting to show a bit more of her fun personality. <br/>While she starts out a bit shy, she is a curious girl who seems to notice and observe everything. She is also quite sweet and affectionate once she gets to know you and really enjoys head pets and will bop her head up against your hand for more. In that case, we kindly ask for a personal reference instead.<br/>Why we ask these questions:<br/>We want to make sure we find the best possible fit for both you and the animal.<br/>For renters, we need to confirm with your landlord that pets are allowed, as unfortunately, many landlords in Franklin County have restrictions.<br/>Checking with your veterinarian helps us ensure that our animals receive the ongoing medical care they deserve.<br/>What happens next:<br/>Once we receive positive references from your landlord (if applicable) and veterinarian (or personal reference), we'll contact you to schedule an appointment if you're interested in adopting a dog.<br/>If you're looking for a feline friend, you're welcome to come in anytime during our open hours!<br/>Important information:<br/>Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date your application is approved.<br/>We're truly grateful for the overwhelming interest in our animals!
