Marnie is a beautiful tuxedo mama born on January 1, 2025, with a gentle soul and a personality full of warmth. This dainty little princess first found herself at the county shelter, where she was adopted along with another cat friend. Shortly after the adoption, her new owners discovered that Marnie was pregnant and made the difficult decision to surrender her back to the shelter.<br/><br/>Thankfully, Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue stepped in and welcomed Marnie into foster care, where she could safely relax and prepare for motherhood. In foster, Marnie proved to be an incredibly loving and attentive mom to her five black and white babies, who will soon be at the cafe and available for adoption.<br/><br/>Marnie is an exceptionally affectionate cat who absolutely loves people. She constantly purred while caring for her kittens and would "talk" softly to them throughout the day. Even while raising babies, she always made time to seek out affection, curling up in laps whenever she had the chance. She is the kind of cat who wants to be close to her person, offering companionship, comfort, and nonstop sweetness.<br/><br/>Though petite in size, Marnie has a big loving personality and brings a calm, cozy presence wherever she goes. She has done wonderfully with people, but she has not been getting along particularly well with some of the other cats in her environment. Because of that, she may be happiest being adopted as the queen of her own home. A single lady who can soak up all the love and attention for herself.<br/><br/>After spending her young life raising kittens and bouncing through the shelter system, Marnie is ready for a forever home where she can finally be someone's spoiled little companion.<br/><br/>We have dozens of cats and kittens available!
