She came to us from a home crowded with cats and received almost no socialization to humans. Getting picked up and placed in a shelter is stressful for any cat, but a cat who hasn't yet learned that humans are friends can find the shelter a very tough place to live. Our hope is that in the right home and the right hands, Marmee can properly decompress in a safe, comfortable environment. She'll need a very special person to help her slowly unwind and learn that humans aren't half bad (especially when they have lots of toys and treats to go around).
