Marmalade - In Foster To Adopt

Hi there, I'm Marmalade! I am as sweet as my name and would be great with kids of any age. Although I'm only four, when you look into my eyes, you can see that I'm an old soul. I want love and lots of it. I would also love lots of treats, but I'm counting on you to help me get into shape. One way to do that is to play with me. I really like Cat Dancer and am pretty quick for my size. I also like laser light, string and feathers. When I have catnip I'll take a few nibbles and might flop but then back for more play or love. I'd probably benefit from some automated games for self-play to keep me active when my new family is busy. I adore being brushed and getting my belly rubbed and kisses. I also want my cheeks and nose rubbed - all of it will get my purr going and my beanz dancing. I also love kisses especially on my head and nose. I deserve a warm, loving, playful home. and am hoping that you're ready to give me one!<br/><br/>A note from Marmalade's foster:<br/><br/>"Right when we settled in, Marmalade did not even want to stay in her own room, she wanted to explore immediately. She was so happy and excited to look around each and every corner of the house. When she got comfortable, she had her spot at the top of the stairs and always took a nap there. After some time, she did get comfortable in her own room and<br/>enjoyed staying there as well. The first night she decided to come up on our bed and cuddle with me the entire night, she loves knowing that she is safe.<br/><br/>Her favorite things are belly rubs, cuddles and her little cardboard box home that we made for her. She feels the safest in a small space. Marmalade is scared of storms, but loves to try to cuddle you to feel comfort. She will meow if she hears rain or lightning but she is just trying to let you know to be there for her. Marmalade loves chasing after things,<br/>especially string! She can play for a long time trying to grab the end of the string. Her favorite thing is human interaction and love. She is the most loving cat you will ever have and will even give you a little love tap if she wants more affection.<br/><br/>She is almost like a dog, she will wait for you by the door and even follow you around the house. She is extremely smart and will actually listen to you when you call her name. Marmalade is the gold mine of cats, she will never leave your side and makes a great companion. She loves seeing new people walk through your door and will even go up to them, flop on her back, and ask for belly rubs."
