Marmalade's Story
Marmalade was rescued while one of our volunteers was doing TNR in a rural area, and this friendly orange tabby girl is now seeking a forever home! If you aren’t able to adopt, please help by sharing her post!

As you can see, Marmalade has the most beautiful, rich hue to her fur coat. While we aren’t certain of her exact age, she is still young (likely under 2 years old). She is very playful and talkative, and she loves to eat! She gets along well with the other kitties in her foster home, and her foster mom thinks she would also probably do well in a home with older children.

Marmalade has been fully vetted - spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She tested negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and she tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). If you aren’t familiar with FIV, check out these links - https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv and https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/

If you’re located in Ohio, and you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Marmalade, submit an application via our website. Applicants can also request to foster-to-adopt (meaning a cat can be fostered on a trial basis before making a decision to adopt). Note that a verifiable vet history is required.
