Markel's Story

Meet Markel! He is a beautiful silver grey tabby with lovely green eyes. He was brought to the shelter after living outside, and can still be timid and reserved with strangers. But he is brave and tries hard to be friendly and trusting! His foster has been going slowly with him, and has steadily earned his trust with slow blinks and cheek and chin skritches. He loves his laser pointer, and of course, his meals! He gives adorable little head butts and nose taps when he's getting ready to eat.<br/><br/>Markel needs to go home with another cat. If you have a warm and loving home with a resident kitty, and are looking for a sweet and special boy, please give our adoption center a call to set up a meeting with Markel. He is currently in foster care but we would love to arrange a meet and greet! ...
