Pets available for adoption at the Richmond SPCA are synchronized to PetFinder using an automated system. We are working with PetFinder support to resolve some technical problems with upload of photos. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit our website, www.richmondspca.org, where pets at our center are current and updated in real time as they become available and are adopted to loving homes.
The Richmond SPCA, founded in 1891, is a non-profit, no-kill humane organization dedicated to the principle that every life is precious. The Richmond SPCA is a national leader in humane care and education, having developed numerous lifesaving programs and services including those dedicated to adoption, rehabilitation, sterilization and education. The organization saves the lives of nearly 4,000 homeless animals each year and cares for about 350 cats and dogs daily.
Every time you adopt a pet from the Richmond SPCA, you enable us to save the life of another orphaned animal in great need, and finding a great companion has never been easier!
When you arrive at the Richmond SPCA, you'll be asked to fill out an adopter survey. This one-page survey gathers information about your expectations of pet ownership and helps us determine which animals might best suit your lifestyle.
