Hi! I am Marina, a domestic shorthair charcoal gray kitty. I have gorgeous gold/green eyes and have a sweet disposition. I like to sit by the window and view the world pass by. I am a quiet, reserved and calm cat. I am scared of new people and surroundings. I take my time to warm up. I came to the shelter with my kitten, Brooke, who has found a home. I am anxiously yet patiently waiting for my home and family. <br/><br/>I am spayed, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a quiet and calm home. I tolerate other kitties without issue but I tend to be independent. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries. A home with lots of activity may scare me.<br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and good ol' pets and love. Once I warm up, I enjoy being pet and loved on. I also like to be in front of a window catching warm sun rays. <br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
