Marin's Story

Once upon a sunny afternoon, there was a tiny kitten named Marin, a 3-month-old Domestic Shorthair Mix who weighed just 2.95 pounds but carried enough love to fill an entire home. Small in size and gentle in spirit, Marin dreams of finding the forever family where her happiest story can begin.
Every day is a new adventure for this curious little girl. She loves pouncing after fuzzy mice, giggle balls, jingle bells, feather wands, laser pointers, crinkle toys, plush toys, catnip toys, and interactive games. When her playful mission is complete, you'll find her stretched out in a warm sunbeam, watching birds from the window, climbing her favorite cat tree, or curled up on a soft blanket beside another cat or a favorite person. Her sweetest little quirk? She likes to gently "tuck in" her favorite toy before settling down for a cozy nap.
Marin has a friendly heart and enjoys head bumps, ear scratches, chin rubs, head pats, sitting on laps, quiet conversations, and simply being close to the people she loves. She may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but with patience, kindness, and a few favorite treats like Churu, Temptations, Delectables, Friskies treats, chicken chip chews, or tuna, her confidence blossoms beautifully. She also enjoys a little quiet time on her own before happily returning for cuddles.
She gets along well with other cats, appears to be litter trained, housetrained, and potty trained, and should be kept safely indoors where she can stay healthy and happy. Her vaccinations are up to date, she enjoys a regular diet with food available whenever she's hungry, and she'll need routine veterinary care, a follow-up appointment, and plenty of playtime and loving human interaction as she grows.
If your home has room for a tiny heroine with a playful spirit, a gentle heart, and endless affection to share, Marin would love to make your family the next chapter in her story. Apply to adopt today—you may discover your happily ever after together.
For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter at 863 324 5227 to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet.
We are open 10:30 to 6 Tuesday through Friday and 10:30 to 4 on Saturday, closed 12 for lunch and the last Friday of every month.
