Marigold's Story

MEET MARIGOLD — DLH Torti (Sibling to Oliver)
Available in about 4 weeks. She's only about 4 to 5 weeks old as of 8/3/26.

Marigold's little family came from yet another local mobile home park owned by the same landlord as the other abandoned mom we posted earlier. Just like that mother cat, Marigold's mom had been left behind by someone in the park — and she did what good mothers do. She carried her kittens to the one place she knew they'd be safe.

Now Marigold is thriving in a foster home. She's a soft, long-haired sweetheart with a gentle, thoughtful personality, a bit on the shy side yet. She watches the world with big curious eyes, joins in play once she's sure everything is okay, and melts into your hands when you pick her up.

She'll be ready for adoption in about four weeks, once she's completed her age-appropriate veterinary care and ready to leave her mother (at about 8 weeks).

If you'd like to start the process, you can request our matchmaking form and learn more about our adoption steps.

If she's adopted prior to old enough to be spayed and complete vaccinations she will be placed with a foster to adopt contract.

Pet Connection Rescue & Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters must complete a matchmaking form so we can pair the right pet with the right home. Just because you’re drawn to a pet’s appearance doesn’t mean it’s the best fit for your household. We don’t believe in no-barrier adoptions—references will be checked, and each potential adopter will go through a thorough interview. Adopters will be pre-approved before meeting any pets. Since we’re volunteer- and foster-based, all of our pets live in our homes.
