Marigold came to us with a large wound due to a dog bite and spent time in foster care recovering. She has completely healed and is now ready for her new home!<br/><br/>Marigold is very shy, understandably, due to what she went through before coming to the shelter. Her foster states she is very mellow and can be nervous with interaction but loves being pet. She would do best with an understanding adopter that can give her time to adjust to her new surroundings allowing her to come out of her shell at her own pace.<br/><br/>Marigold's adoption has been sponsored by a loving fan!<br/><br/>She has been around other cats in her foster home and while she doesn't interact much with them she doesn't mind them at all and would be content coexisting with another kitty in her new home.<br/>Due to her injury that was caused by a dog bite she would likely do best in a home without dogs but may do well with very mellow, small dogs with a slow introduction.<br/>Due to her shy personality she would do best in a home without young children.
