She originally tested positive for FeLV, but we have repeatedly retested her for a negative result. This means she may have had it as a kitten, but her immune system fought it off. Her best friend, Ella, is in the same position. Ideally they could be adopted together, but Maria likes to hang out with any cat that is nice to her. She would not do well in a home with small children or a lot of noise.
