2-year-old Margo came to Hero Rescue with newborn babies, fresh off the winter streets. She was an incredible mom - protective, devoted, and determined to keep her kittens safe. While she's gained confidence in our care, Margo has made one thing clear: humans are not her besties. She prefers to observe from afar and live life on her own terms.<br/><br/>What she does love? She absolutely thrives around feline friends and would do wonderfully in an environment where she can coexist with fellow mousers.<br/><br/>Margo is looking for placement through our Working Cat Program - perfect for independent cats who aren't suited for a traditional indoor home but still have so much to offer. Review our adoption contract and application.<br/><br/>2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling.<br/><br/>3. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 1-3 days.<br/><br/>5. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are:<br/><br/>- Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting.<br/><br/>- Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting.<br/><br/>- If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption.<br/><br/>6.
