September 2021 update: Margaery continues to reside in her foster home and is very comfortable with “her people”. She continues to have a close bind to another cat in the home and picks and chooses which kittens she likes for the day. She has become a lot braver and will come greet most people when they enter the home. She still needs to take it slow and has her quirks but she’s a great girl. ?<br/><br/>January 2021 update: Margaery has remained in her foster home and continues to make progress. She still picks and chooses who she is comfortable around but if she chooses you then she is a love bug. She enjoy being pet and LOVES treats. She will play on her own or with other cats. She relies very much on the comfort of the other cats in the foster home and also enjoys taking care of the fosters who are younger than her. We are requiring the home who adopts her to have another cat or adopt her with another foster in her foster home as comfort. Marg does well with children as long as they understand they need to be patient and be on "her time." She has not been around dogs. <br/><br/>1/12: Mama Marg as we like to call her has been enjoying taking care of the kittens in her foster home. She’s a very maternal girl! She has made major progress with her fear of strangers and has started to greet visitors in the home. She is such a sweetheart!!! She is still very nervous around most men. Marg would do best in a home with other cats.<br/><br/>12/4 update: Margaery has adjusted fantastic to her foster home. She loves to play with her kitties friends and has become bonded to Emmie and would love to be adopted with her. We have discounted the adoption fee to $75 for the pair to find them a home for the holidays! <br/><br/>10/30 update: Margaery has continued to make progress and has made Kitty friends in the foster home. She loves to snuggle with any kitty who will let her and is just the sweetest girl! She also will wait for you at the door! <br/><br/>9/14 update: Margaery has made amazing progress and now enjoys sitting on the couch and with her foster. She is very food motivated and treats help her to learn to trust new people. She does well with other cats and may tolerate children if they give her the time and space she needs. <br/><br/>Margaery was brought to us from a family in South Jefferson county. Her parents were feral so she is still learning to trust humans. She enjoys spending time with her siblings and looking out the window <br/>She would do best in a quiet home with a family that is willing to give her time to warm up on her own time.
