Our bonded boys, Mardi Gras and Bayou, will offer you a bit of everything.<br/>At first glance, Mardi Gras may seem shy, but don't let that fool you—this gentle boy absolutely loves affection. Once he gets comfortable, he will purr in contentment for hours. Mardi Gras has a physical handicap affecting his rear hips so you will notice that his gait is slightly off. But right now he lives life with enthusiasm and determination. He is incredibly sweet-natured and has a truly big heart. He climbs cat trees like others, although he appreciates having a step available as a boost if there's a spot that requires a jump. He enjoys spending time with his brother Bayou.<br/>Bayou sometimes prefers to hang back and observe first, but he eventually comes around with a little patience. Now that he is together in a big room with Mardi Gras and other kittymates, he doesn't let anything slow him down. <br/>These boys were born in a loving foster home as their pregnant mama was rescued as a stray. Because of Mardi Gras' special needs and Bayou's sensitive nature, they would do best in a quiet home with someone who has cat experience and can provide a calm, loving environment. They would be happiest with one another or another friendly cat for companionship.<br/>These special boys have an enormous capacity for love and will make deeply devoted companions for the lucky family that welcomes them. They would thrive in a calm, patient home where they can take their time to acclimate, and once they are feeling comfortable, you will feel like you are always on a fun vacation together!<br/>DOB: 8/2025<br/>Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org.<br/>All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati.
