Marbles's Story

Marbles is a stunning, four-year-old female Bengal who came to AVA with her two kittens, Ghost and Hercules, and 12 other cats after they were surrendered by a backyard breeder. Now Marbles and her kittens are ready for a fresh start and will make an instant family for a lucky adopter.

While Marbles’ vet record lists her simply as a “silver Bengal”, her markings and colouring are actually extremely striking and unique. Marbles has bright, green eyes and an ivory coat with sepia/mocha rosettes and swirls.

Marbles is highly intelligent, affectionate and playful. She delighted her foster family by initiating a game of fetch with a bouncy, foam ball. Marbles is content to repeatedly fetch and “drop it”, which, after watching videos of her doing this, many viewers have commented, “She’s better at fetching than my dog!” Marbles will either supervise her kittens’ play or she will join in! This smart girl also figured out how to get the treats out of the treat puzzle in record time.

She’s a devoted mother who has a special bond with both kittens, Ghost, her biological kitten and Hercules, who she adopted and has raised as her own. In addition to playing interactively with humans, Marbles is a sweet, lap cat who is content to curl up for a good nap when her mothering duties are done.

Would you like to make Marbles and her kittens Hercules and Ghost a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form.

Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Adoption fees are $350 for Ghost, $300 for Hercules and $300 for Marbles. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
