Marble's Story

Meet Marble! Marble is a very plump, but very sweet and affectionate, 7-8 year old Domestic Short Hair that was brought to SCAC when her previous home was no longer a good fit. This sweet girl definitely enjoys the couch potato lifestyle, but we are encouraging her to try a new fitness lifestyle. She loves catnip, love and attention, catnip, and of course her food. She has previously lived with other felines, but is very cat selective. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
