A kind tenant took the kittens in—but Mara was left behind. That’s when we were called.<br/><br/>We brought her into the rescue, but it’s clear life hasn’t been gentle with her.<br/><br/>Mara is incredibly sweet. She’ll roll onto her back, exposing her belly, quietly asking for love… but when it comes close, she gets scared.
