Maple & Sammy (F)

Maple & Sammy are a bonded mother & daughter pair. Maple was taken in with another cat (Twofer) believed to be her sister as strays by a family in farm country in early April of 2024. On April 14 Twofer had 2 kittens & on April 24 Maple had 6 kittens. The people who took them in both worked & had 3 cats & a dog of their own & had a hard time caring for 2 moms & 8 kittens adequately so they surrendered them to us. <br/>The moms raised the kittens with our help & we found homes for Twofer & all the other kittens as pairs spaying & neutering them all before they went to their new homes. <br/>Maple & Sammy (also a female) remained with us & have gotten all their medical care as well as spays & microchips & are now ready to find their forever homes.<br/>These 2 love each other & sleep side by side, play together, eat together & need to remain as a pair. They would be heartbroken if separated. If one wanders into another room it is not long until the other is seeking her out. <br/>They moms were estimated by our vet to be very young, under 2 years old & both very healthy with no medical issues. Sammy was one of the most social & outgoing kittens of them all though very attached to Maple. They love to play with the laser or chasing strings or go racing thru their tunnels together. They are very sweet girls & have no desire to go outside & stay far away from any open door. It seems the time that Maple spent outside before being taken in was enough for her & Sammy has never been out so is very content inside as that's all she has ever known. <br/>They have not been around dogs but they have been around children over 5 years old & are good with them. They are used to have a lot of attention so we need them to go to a home where they will be adored & get lots of love!
