Maple's Story

Maple's earliest memories are living in the back of a Lowes trying not to be crushed by forklifts and heavy pallets. Employees would leave little bits of their lunch for them and Maple, being the braver of the two siblings, would drag the chunks of chicken and similar fare, back to her brother,Pancake in the crevices they would hide in.
One of the employees got a trap and successfully got Maple to us. She would chirp sad meows alone in her foster home until we got her brother and reunited them.
Unused to people, one of our fosters spent a lot of time with her and she has come a long way.
However she enjoy the company of cats more than people and loves lounging with other cats at the shelter.
When one of the other cats close by us getting pets she will chirp and come up for her head scritches. She would do poorly as the only cat in the household.
Messages from petfinder are not monitored, if interested in adoption please come visit them Wednesday through Sunday noon to 3.
