Meet Lilith and Maple!<br/><br/>Lilith and Maple came into our care when their previous guardian was no longer able to care for them. Maple was pretty quick to make friends with some new people, but Lilith has been more shy and reserved, preferring to just stick by her bff Maple instead. After some time in foster, she has started to warm up to the idea of new human friends again. These beautiful girls are now looking forward to meeting their next family!<br/><br/>Maple is the more social of the two, leading the way with meeting new people and getting cuddles. Lilith may be more apprehensive but is showing more and more every day that while she wants love, she would like it to be earned. For Lilith, mealtime and snacks have been the key to slowly and surely building her trust. Maple and Lilith like to keep close tabs on each other and spend lots of time snuggling. With lots of noise or activity, they will both keep their distance so they are looking for a quiet home with a predictable routine and somebody that can respect their preference for being homebodies.<br/><br/>Offering opportunities for playtime and giving treats are surely to help win them over! No doubt they will claim their favorite high spot to perch and sunny spot on the bed or couch for naptime. We are sure that if their new family respects their need to settle in at their own pace, you will soon start to discover all of the super special things about them.<br/><br/>Cats: Lilith and Maple have no experience with cats, other than each other.<br/>Dogs: Lilith and Maple have done well with living with a respectful, small-breed dog. They may do well with respectful, cat-savvy dogs in an adoptive home.<br/>Children: Lilith and Maple may do best in a home with adults only, or with older, quiet and respectful children.<br/><br/>Lilith and Maple are available for adoption from an HSCC foster home!
