Maple and Raisin

Meet Maple and Raisin, a bonded pair of kittens! They are approximately 6 months old.<br/><br/>Maple is a long-haired dilute tortoiseshell female kitten with a big fluffy tail. She is quite vocal and loves being the center of attention.<br/><br/>Raisin is a short-haired black female kitten with a very soft and shiny coat. She<br/>is very curious and playful.<br/><br/>Both girls love to chase the wand toy, any and all sorts of balls (the ones with bells are their favorite), and a nap on a soft blanket or pillow once they’re tired out. They are also big fans of wrestling each other and pestering their older foster brothers for affection. They have never met a treat they didn’t like, but tube treats definitely take the cake.<br/><br/>Although both girls can be pretty shy at first, Raisin tends to be the more cautious of the two and will constantly look to Maple for reassurance. She is also more likely to find a hiding spot, even when you think there aren’t any! Their adopter will need to be patient as these two are learning to trust humans. <br/><br/>They are still in the process of learning to like pets and making “physical touch” their love language. They really enjoy being around other cats, interactive toys, and all treats, so these have all been great tools in their socialization. Their ideal transition would include starting out in a bathroom or small room before being exposed to a whole new living space. They will need some time to adjust to their new people/place but once they do, their personalities really shine!<br/><br/>Together, these two make an adorable playful pair of kittens!<br/><br/>What Maple and Raisin are looking for in a home:<br/><br/> - They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.<br/> - They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.<br/> - They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust.<br/> - They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.<br/> - They need to live indoors only.<br/> - They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.<br/> - They have no known history with dogs.<br/> - They have no known history with children.<br/><br/>All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:<br/><br/> - $200 per cat or kitten<br/> - $350 for pair of cats or kittens<br/> - $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)<br/> - Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care<br/> - Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in Tina and Louise!
