Maple's Story
Maple (AKA Mae Mae) has been on quite an adventure, and we only know the half of it probably! In August 2025, networkers noticed a black cat very high up in a tree at Frontier Park. We were so lucky to quickly have responders from the fire department and a tree service to make the climb and rescue Maple! She was found in a maple tree of course. Once safely on land, we discovered she was microchipped...to FLORIDA! The chip had not been updated in years, and despite multiple efforts, we could not find her owners.

Mae Mae has been with us ever since. She is 4-1/2 years old and incredibly sweet. She loves to meow back to you, but the shelter environment gets very overwhelming for you. She is ready for her next chapter! In a calm, quite space, Mae Mae truly blossoms - melting into pets, soaking up affection, and shower her true loving personality.

Mae Mae would thrive in a peaceful home. While she could potentially coexist with a kind, friendly kitty, she would be perfectly content - and perhaps happiest - as your one and only, soaking up all the love for herself.

Maple is combo test negative and fully vetted, including spay, rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccines, and all necessary parasite treatments.
