MANGO HABANERO

MANGO HABANERO
DOB: 05/25/26
Male, 2 lb.

Mango is a sweet boy. He is one of two boys in a litter of 10 kittens. Found living a collapsing garage with his siblings and his mother just trying to stay alive. It was scary and every day was another day that these babies had to stay hidden and quiet so they weren't noticed and would live for another day.

PetPromise came to the rescue when the kittens were about 6 weeks old, They were all afraid and had no idea that things were about to change for him for the better in a matter of hours.

From Mango himself:
"Hi there! I'm Mango Habanero. Just like my name, I have a little bit of kick and a whole lot of sweetness. I'm a bit shy when we first meet, but if you wave a feather wand or open a pouch of Friskies Lil' Gravy, we will instantly become best friends! I am super curious and love to play, especially if there are other feline roommates around to show me the ropes. Ive even lived around small dogs before! Because I like a predictable, gentle environment while I build my confidence, I would do best in a home with older children who understand my initial shyness. If you have a cozy couch, a feather wand, and a steady supply of chicken, I'm ready to move in!"

Mango loves other cats and kittens (and will need to be adopted with one of his siblings unless you have another kitten at home already.) He has not been around dogs but he is still a kitten so could be introduced easily. He is a very special boy that deserves a wonderful home where he can be loved and feel safe maybe for the first time in his life!

---
If you are interested in opening your heart and your home to Mango for the next 15-20 years, please complete an online adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/223107373504044

We do not have a shelter or sanctuary. All pets are cared for in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted.

We require a home visit as part of the application process. We are only able to coordinate home visits where we have local volunteers.

All of the cats in our care and available for adoption have been rescued from shelters, the streets or from neglect or abuse situations. We do our best to determine the given breed or breeds of any cat or kitten in our program based on our experience and advice of professionals.

NOTE: PetPromise requires that young kittens 6 months or under be adopted in pairs unless you have an existing kitten. This policy is intended to ensure that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. However, if you are interested in a particular kitten you may apply to adopt the kitten and once approved, you may enter into a Foster to Adopt Agreement whereby you agree to foster the kitten(s) for PetPromise until PetPromise have the kitten(s) fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered. Once the vet care is complete an official adoption will be completed.
