Mango's Story

Meet Mango, a sweet 3-year-old male cat who recently arrived at the shelter and is still gently learning to trust his new surroundings. Because he has FIV, Mango is a timid boy who must remain strictly indoors to keep him safe and healthy, though he is more than happy to live alongside other FIV-positive feline friends in a calm, quiet home where he can truly decompress. Having previously survived being hit by a car, Mango’s right side has healed as much as it ever is going to; while it leaves him with a little extra character, it doesn't stop him from being a gentle soul looking for a patient adopter. This resilient little guy is just waiting for the right person to show him that the world can be a safe, comforting place.
