Mango's Story

Meet Mango 🧡

Sometimes life changes in ways that aren't anyone's fault, and that's exactly what happened to sweet Mango.

Mango was adopted as a kitten and happily shared her home with another resident cat. They coexisted beautifully for over a year. When a new kitten joined the family, however, everything changed. The resident cat and the new kitten became close friends, but Mango struggled to adjust. Despite her family's love, patience, and many attempts to help her feel comfortable, Mango never accepted the new addition.

After a great deal of thought and many tears, her family made the incredibly difficult decision to return her to Enfield Community Cat Project so she could have the chance to find the home that truly fits her personality.

Now it's our turn to help Mango find her happy ending.

Mango is looking for a home where she can be the one and only pet. She simply enjoys having her space and doesn't want to share it with other cats or dogs. She would do well in a home with children over the age of five who understand how to respect a cat's boundaries.

She's an independent girl who doesn't demand constant attention, but she's still settling back into rescue life and is understandably a little confused by all the recent changes. She'll need a patient adopter who understands that transitions can be stressful for cats and is willing to let her adjust at her own pace.

The right person won't try to rush Mango—they'll let her come around when she's ready and appreciate her for exactly who she is.

If you're looking for a companion who will thrive as your one-and-only and you're willing to give her the time, patience, and stability she deserves, Mango just might be your perfect match.

She's been through a lot, and now she's ready for the forever home she always deserved. 🧡🐾
