Sometimes life doesnt go as planned, and our hearts hurt for cats like Mango.<br/><br/>We wanted to provide an update and correct some information about Mangos situation.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Mango was adopted as a kitten into a home with another resident cat, and the two coexisted happily. About a year later, the family introduced another kitten into the home. The new kitten and the resident cat quickly bonded, but unfortunately, Mango never accepted the newcomer.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Over the past year, Mango has struggled with the change. Despite a lot of love and efforts to make things work, Mango has never adjusted to the younger cat.<br/><br/><br/><br/>After much thought and many difficult conversations, her family has made the heartbreaking decision to return Mango to ECCP so that she can have the opportunity to find a soft place to land where she can truly be happy.<br/><br/><br/><br/>We know this wasnt an easy decision, and were committed to helping Mango find the right environment where she can thrive.
