Mandarina (Mandy)'s Story
From her foster mom, Christina:
Mandi is a sweet, playful orange girl with the cutest little bob tail that wiggles when she’s happy. It’s impossible not to smile when you see it.

She enjoys being near her people and loves attention and interaction once she feels comfortable. She can be shy at first and needs a little time to settle in, but as her confidence grows, her playful and affectionate personality really starts to shine.

Mandi absolutely loves toys and has a fun, energetic side. She also has a very cozy nighttime routine and loves sleeping on the pillow above your head so she can stay close to her person.

She was a stray mama cat who raised all of her kittens before finally getting the care she needed herself. After developing an infection in her tail, she had to have part of it amputated, which is why she now has her adorable little bob tail.

Mandi gets along well with other cats and dogs. She seems to warm up to women especially quickly.

I think she would do best in a calmer home with older children and someone patient who will let her settle in at her own pace while continuing to build her confidence.

She’s a really special girl with a playful spirit, a lot of love to give, and one very adorable wiggly tail.

Born 4/1/2023

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
