Mancha's Story

Meet Mancha!

After touching down in Vermont from our friends at a partnering shelter in Texas, this young cat is finally ready for the next leg of their journey: straight into your home and heart! Like all great cats, they come with a full itinerary of needs and opinions. They'll want a cozy soft spot to melt into for hours, a sunny window to chatter at birds from, toys to bat around with reckless abandon, and nothing more than to spend a quiet evening curled up right next to you!

Young cats are endlessly curious, playful, and full of purrsonality. They need enrichment, playtime, and the chance to feel safe, and once they do, they'll give you everything they've got. Every cat is an individual, they may warm up instantly or take a little time to find their footing in a new place- both are completely normal, and both are worth it! A quiet introduction, some patience, and a few tasty treats will go a long way. If you're ready to open your home to a cat who flew a long way for a chance at something great, we think you might just be their purrfect match!

Young and full of potential
May do well in a home with dogs, other cats, or respectful children- with thoughtful introductions, time, patience, and proper management
May need a little adjustment time in a new home- totally normal!

Visit our Adoption Center to meet your potential new best friend! Please visit the Adopt section of our website for details on the adoption process. We look forward to seeing you soon!
