Mambo's Story

Hi, I'm Mambo! I'm a very smart and athletic guy that loves to play and have fun. When I tire myself out running around the house with my sister Nala, I jump up on my foster mom's nap and crash. I am also the first one to jump up in bed with her at bedtime. If you look closely, you will see I have the cutest chocolate toe beans!

Mambo! Let me tell them more about you and Nala please:

Mambo and his sweet sister never met a toy they didn't like. In absence of any toy, they will chase each other around the house with "Zoomies" then collapse in a pile to purr and nap together. They have perfect litter box manners and LOVE treats! They are still learning appropriate claw maintenance so they will need to have a variety of scratching materials just for them. They love to jump and run around and go up high, so they also would absolutely love a tall cat tree

When it is their idea, they are extremely affectionate and will sit together in their foster mom's lap and jump up on the bed. They both make biscuits and Mambo has the most gorgeous spots and stripes! They absolutely love their foster homes' two adult resident cats, so they would do well in a home with one or more cats. They would not do well in a loud, hectic household- no dogs, no kids

All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for roundworms and other parasites as needed . Adoption includes a fleece blanket and discount coupons.

South County Cats is a volunteer-driven, IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our kittens are fostered in volunteers' homes. Most kittens come from rescue situations and some are not suitable for young children. ALL kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat or kitten. Please see our Adoption Policies at http://www.southcountycats.org/scc-adoption-policies where you can also find our Adoption Application. Please ask us about our policies if you have questions.

Adoption donation - $140 (cash)/$145 (Venmo) for kittens and $80 (cash)/$85 (Venmo) for adult cats and kittens over six months old. This helps cover the spay or neuter and care of this kitten and the spay or neuter of its mother and other household/yard cats to stop the uncontrolled breeding that leads to overpopulation and homelessness. Adopted cats and kittens MUST go home in a secure carrier, no cardboard boxes.

Our adoption application can be found at https://form.jotform.com/200017468978059. Applications are reviewed in the order received. Please email us at sccadopt@gmail.com for more information.

Please note that this cat or kitten may have an adoption application pending. Adoptable pet listings are not removed until the adoption has been finalized. Pets are removed from the adoptable list as soon as possible after adoption.
