Mamba's Story

Meet Mamba, whose foster affectionately refers to as Greyboy!

Mamba came into foster care with his two brothers and sister. While his siblings were quick to make friends, Mamba/Greyboy was much shyer. He would gently tap his foster mom, asking for attention, but would dart away whenever she tried to pet him. With patience, love, and time, he slowly built his confidence. One day, he finally leaned into her hand for cuddles - and he's never looked back.

Today, Mamba/Greyboy, who we think was born on 1 March 2024, is a sweet and affectionate boy who comes looking for pets and snuggles. He can still be a little skittish at times, but once he trusts you, his loving personality shines through.

He also loves to play! Whether he's chasing the red dot, batting around hair ties, or tossing cat toys across the room, he's always ready for fun and games.

He especially enjoys playing with his brother, but he's also very respectful of older cats. In fact, he loves curling up beside them for a cozy cuddle.

Mamba would thrive in a home with another friendly cat to play and snuggle with (he needs to go to a home with another kitty). He would do best with a patient family and children over 13 years old who can give him the time he needs to settle in and feel secure.

Could you be the special person Greyboy has been waiting for?

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada
