Mama Olive's Story

Meet Mama Olive, a shy but sweet young adult brown tabby lady cat.

Mama Olive came with her three little newborn babies, who were all brown tabbies as well- named Horseradish, Ketchup, and Mustard. After raising her babies, they were vetted and adopted out already, so now it's mama's turn!

When Olive first came into our care, she was immediately very sweet and affectionate without much hesitation at all. Once she was in foster with her babies, she cuddled with humans and enjoyed lots of affection. Now, she is free-roaming here in-shelter, and can act a bit shy and anxious when things get particularly busy or chaotic. Because of this, Mama Olive would do best in a quieter home, or at least in a home where she can escape to a peaceful and quiet room as she desires.

Mama Olive also could likely benefit from some dental cleaning sometime in her future, as she has periodontal disease 2/3. We offer low-cost dental procedures here at RMFR, and would love to work with her future adopter if you choose to pursue a dental through us.

While she has tolerated the other cats in her free-roaming room, she doesn't seem to have much interest in befriending them- so she could be in a home with other feline room-mates, or she could be happy being solo queen of the house. Unsure about her having any past experience with dogs.

This sweetheart has lots of love to give beneath her sometimes timid exterior. She is sure to delight her future adopter with affection and warmth once she settles in and feels safe. Please give her a chance to show you, and consider adopting Mama Olive today!
