Mama Freya 25''s Story
**Meet Mama Freya (25)!**

Mama Freya's story began on the streets, where she was found doing what she does best—being an incredible mom. After safely raising her two kittens and watching them grow, this sweet girl is finally ready to enjoy the retirement she deserves.

Freya is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can truly relax and be herself. Loud/unfamiliar noises, sudden movements, and unfamiliar people can make her nervous at first, so patience is key. She may hide when visitors arrive, but once she learns that you're one of her people, her loving personality shines through.

While she's not a lap cat, Freya enjoys being close to her humans. You'll often find her sitting beside you on the couch (with a respectable amount of personal space, of course) or lounging nearby on an ottoman while keeping you company. She isn't a fan of being picked up, but she's been practicing and has made great progress—especially when treats are involved!

Freya has a playful side too. She loves interactive toys and can surprise you with bursts of kitten-like energy. One of her favorite pastimes is relaxing in a sunny window, where she can bird-watch, nap, and soak up the sunshine. She also has a hilarious habit: every time Alexa makes an announcement, Freya is convinced it's mealtime and comes running & meowing to see if anyone if anyone is around to give her snacks !

Because of some urinary health issues, Freya requires a little extra care. She will need prescription urinary food for life, plenty of fresh water, a clean litter box, and a low-stress environment to help prevent future flare-ups. She currently enjoys a mix of urinary prescription wet and dry food, with extra water added to meals, plus a midday Churu-and-water treat to encourage hydration. She's also working on losing a few extra pounds and is always willing to discuss snack options.

Freya would do best as the only pet or in a home with extremely calm, quiet animals. She is not a fan of energetic cats or dogs and thrives in a peaceful environment.

This special girl has already spent her life caring for others. Now it's her turn to be cared for. If you're looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she needs, Mama Freya will reward you with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and a lifetime of love.

Could you be the safe, sunny retirement home Mama Freya has

been waiting for?
