Mama

Mama is an exceptionally beautiful and well-adjusted young calico cat, less than two years old. She really enjoys being with people and loves to sit on a lap for as long as she can and be petted. <br/><br/>Her photograph captures the beauty of her rich calico colors, as if she were in an artist’s painting, with her big lovely eyes. <br/><br/>She was given the name “Mama” by her rescuer after she wandered up into his yard, pregnant. He took her in and gave her food, water, and protection. Soon after, she gave birth to five kittens and eventually, with her young family, went to live with a nearby foster family.<br/><br/>Mama is especially gentle, healthy, playful and people-oriented. She is a nice sized young adult, weighing 10-11 pounds. The first thing she likes to do when she sees her foster mother is jump up and sit on her lap, purring. She also likes to play with her toys, <br/>groom her kittens, and doze off to sleep. <br/><br/>Mama is very healthy with a beautiful soft coat of fur and a positive attitude towards everything in her life.
