Mama Cat's Story

This beautiful black kitty is Mama Cat! She was surrendered because the previous household had a dog that wasn't good with cats. Mama Cat is about 3 years old and weighs about 7 and a half pounds. Her previous owner said she was born on their property and has always had balance issues in her back end. She gets around fine and would be best as an indoor cat due to her being off balance. She is not a lap cat and sometimes tolerates being picked up, but prefers pets and attention on her terms. She makes big biscuits and drools when getting pets, and will lean in to your hands. She has always been a little timid and shy and hid in her cat beds when she arrived. She has gotten more comfortable and is very affectionate now. She may need some time to adapt when she's adopted, but will reward you with a lifetime of love!

She is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. She is $95 to bring home!

If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
