She is not registered and her birth history is unknown, but she exhibits all the traits of the Oriental Shorthair in both physical characteristics and temperament, as well as the Siamese characteristics, that are the foundation blood of the Oriental Shorthair.<br/><br/>She is easygoing, confident, and friendly. Although she is slightly aloof and independent, she is affectionate and loving, partial to cuddling up and sleeping with you. Mali also loves to settle in with you in the evenings and tuck her head upside down into you and hold it there. She is sweet and forgiving and doesnt hold grudges. <br/><br/>Mali has a bright mind and is full of energy. She benefits from having plenty of healthy activities and lots of toys and furniture to burn off excess energy and keep her mind occupied. She requires an experienced cat person who knows how to direct her energy.<br/><br/>She is bonded to her brother, Yindee, an almost exact twin. Adopters must live within **one hour of Silverton, Oregon**.<br/><br/>Adoption Fees<br/><br/>* **$100** — Adult cats (12+ months)<br/>* **$150** — Kittens (under 12 months)<br/><br/>All cats adopted through **Silverton Cat Rescue** are spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccinations.<br/><br/>We are **not first-come, first-served**. Our goal is to match each kitty with the *purrfect* home.<br/><br/>Silverton Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run **501(c)(3) nonprofit**, and all cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate meet-and-greets with our fosters.<br/><br/>Why We Encourage Kitten Pairs<br/><br/>Kittens are social and do best with a feline friend. A buddy helps with confidence, proper play, and emotional well-being.
